We've talked about other well known books but is anybody here working on a novel of their own? Do you plan to try to get it published when you're finished?
I have been working on my own novel since March of this year. I'm currently on Chapter 8 and at the rate I'm going it will probably end up with 20 Chapters. I already have over 100 pages worth of my story in Open Office. I don't have any plans to get it published as I'm mostly just writing it for fun though I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't go for it if given the opportunity.

Yep Dane and I will be co-authoring a fantasy series when we finally figure out how it's going to end. It's based on the RPG I've been running for five years now, and I most definately want to get it published. If Twilight managed to get published, there's no way I won't be famous in a few years. I see it being a lot like the Dragonlance Chronicles. Never ending. There's over 200 books in that series ;D

You lost the whole book? D= I'm sorry. I've had that kind of thing happen before, too >.< If that ever happened to me I'd be liable to kill something.

I was working on a collection of short stories, but I quit after realizing: a) I only had about 70 pages of content, including blank pages b) I no longer had any interest in writing zany stories c) The stuff I had written was more zany than humorous most of the time So yeah.
