We got a ton of people joining up last weekend, but now our newest member has a join date of over a week ago. We need to start recruiting somehow. Any ideas on how best to do this? ;D

Advertising isn't my strong point I'll admit. The ways I know our things like posting an ad on another forum if it's allowed, making graphics to showcase and link back to the forum, trading mini banners and word of mouth.
Out of all of these word of mouth is the only thing that seems to attract any new members from my experience.

I demand a national draft! This is the most rational idea. Or we could be the super friends and each create 10 accounts and act like we have members. I agree. I don't think graphics linking to the forum have ever gotten me a member on any forum. I do click on interesting mini-banners a bit, but it seems as if I've already seen most of the sites I click on and forgot I clicked it before. The only problem with word of mouth is you have to know people on the internet and I'm scared of pedophiles. Chris Hansen can't catch em' all.
