Reading the posts on there makes me lol more than anything. It's not as big a deal as people made it out to be. I've never had a problem with the ads and viruses. As for the ownership of you work, do what I do and throw in a few grammar errors, bitterness and slang terms and ProBoards won't want to show off your posts as their own, etc.

lol. Wow... I've never had a virus problem. It's GOOGLE ADS. But they have a report ad feature. The only time my AV went off was because it was a bouncing off imageshack. but that has long since gone over a year ago, as it's been whitelisted. xD BTW it was Malwarebyts' Anti-Malware. I don't have to worry about any virus, as I am on Linux, but I have never in the last 6 years of being on ProBoards, on ANY forum, have I ran into a virus problem. lol, such noobs they are. >.< Plus I always use an ad blocker, I can white list proboards if I want to, which I have in the past. But seeing as how I never get on Proboards forums as much, it doesn't really matter.

lol @ people complaining about part 15. That shows up in the Support board all the time. ;D What's even funnier is the replies, though, as if people never knew this stuff before

I managed to read the thread, but that site was the one that almost gave me a virus.

I've never had a virus problem. It's GOOGLE ADS. But they have a report ad feature. This got me thinking, how many PB users actually know about this feature? Anyone who visits the Support board regularly would know about it, but that's a pretty small chunk of the entire population of PB users. And as far as I'm aware, the instructions for reporting an ad don't appear anywhere else (except the page source).
