You a fan of Final Fantasy? Which of the games are your favorite?
While many would say Final Fantasy VII, I say Final Fantasy X. It's not just my favorite Final Fantasy game of all time, but one of my favorite video games of all times. With the exception of a few characters I didn't care much about I found this game extremely fun to play, and watch... Because there is a lot of watching...
Lady Yuna is my favorite character. But Final Fantasy VII of course does come in at a close second. I thought both games had an amazing and fun story. I also enjoyed Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX.

You already know I am! ;D Final Fantasy VII is my most favorite out of all of them. I want to play 13 and I cannot wait til 14! ;D I want to get 13 too. It's on my list of 360 titles. Lighting looks awesome. Never played this, either. The sheer number of them is daunting D= And the 14 is only counting the main series. There are several spin-off games that add to it's already overwhelming number. It been around since the 80s.

Would I need to play the previous games to understand what's going on? Or do they stand on their own? Each game is a different story. Final Fantasy is just a brand title. Some of the games like Final Fantasy VII and X have sequels/spin offs though.

I've played them, but I'll be honest.. I don't really care for them.
If they were co-op, I'd like them. I have III (6) for the Super Nintendo and that one IS co-op, and it's the only one I own that I actually liked. They would be a lot better if they went back to the 2-player system.
Dane has 13. It's ok, at best. Lightning, don't care for her. I like Fang.

A co-op mode in the other games would be nice. The only other Final Fantasy game that had a co-op mode since VI that I know of was Crystal Chronicles. And with that you had to have a Gameboy advance to plug into the Game Cube for it to work.

RPG games like Final Fantasy aren't big on the co-op. They're usually single player.
The original Final Fantasy could be a co-op easily though since you start out with four warriors and stay that way through the entire game.

it was good until 6... wanted to play 9 but never did. 13 has a hilarious afro guy so it is tempting me despite being described as the most linear final fantasy game.
Always preferred Chrono Trigger and the Mana series... and I can fill this entire thread with my hatred of gunswords alone, let alone the series after 6. It simply wasn't my cup of tea.

I have played the PSP games (Dissidia and Crisis Core) and they are very good. Many years ago I played Final Fantasy 2 and 3, and I still own them as well as a few of the PS1 games. My brother has 10 that I could borrow. Other than that I want to play 13, but RPG's aren't my favorite.
