The moment of truth.
Now I'm sure a lot of you have heard all about The Koran, but my question is, how many of you actually read it? And I mean actually got a copy of it and read cover to cover?
I never have and probably never will, not because I have anything against the Faith itself. I'm just lazy when it comes to reading things cover to cover. But since I've never read it I don't pretend to know what it says.

did you here about the pastor this weekend who was trying to rally people to burn a koran on 9/11? Heard about that all this past week. He decided not to do it. This thread is mainly about whether or not you ever read the actual book though.

I haven't, but I would like to. I'm pretty open when it comes to learning about other religions (not necessarily following them).

I know my father would have a hissy fit if I ever brought one into this house. He's never read it but he's convinced that what it says is bad. I've seen several sources explain about the quotes which were taken out of context but it would be better to have the book on hand.
There's no better source then the book itself.
