This may be an overused topic but might as well make it. Game Console War! These three are going at it for all the glory! Which one do you prefer over the other? I can't really say since I only played the 360 and can't rightfully compared. The only reason I would want a PS3 is for Metal Gear Solid 4 and the only reason I would want a WII, is for the up-coming Metroid game and few other titles only for the WII. And a few games for a specific console isn't exactly worth the cash.

360 for the clear win.
I've never played the PS3, don't care to. Never been a playstation fan.
When I lived with my dad back in 06 he got the Wii when it first came out and I LOVED IT. Wii Sports is pretty much awesome ;D But alas, I don't have one of my own. Plus, there's way better games for the 360.

I remember playing a WII game at Game Stop but I couldn't figure out the controller. It was some kind of racing game I think and I kept going the wrong way and crashing into things because of the lousy WIImote.
If I ever got a WII I would buy one a regular controller for it, or use my Game Cube ones. I think you can use Game Cube controllers for the WII.

The only one I own is Xbox. I bought it because it was cheaper than PS3, or atleast I thought it was. I had no idea not having online would limit games for me so much in the future. I didn't even get the 360 with a hard-drive as that would be an extra $50, but I later found out a cheap memory card is $40. With that and another controller it wasn't much cheaper at all.
I have still never played a Nintendo Wii, but the graphics look terrible by comparison and the games other than the re-make of Punch-Out! don't interest me. I also don't like the idea of the controller.
PS3 has free online, and I prefer their exclusives (Uncharted, MGS4) to 360's. PS3 also has a better analog for fighting games which is half of what I usually play, so that's crucial for me. I don't believe any of my 360 games are exclusives, as most of them are sports games. My 360 has got the red rings once but I was able to get it fixed.
I definitely prefer PS3. Metal Gear Solid isn't just some game, it's on a level far above all others. And free online? If I had free online I'd be able to get Demos, DLC, and access to modes that require online to play (starting to become a problem for me with sports games). That's not to mention the thrill of actually playing against other people.
I know Xbox Live isn't that expensive, but with games already $60 each I'm not going to pay any more for the full experience.

I prefer the Xbox360.
There was a time when I was a Playstation/Sony Fanboy, but after giving the xbox a fair chance it grew on me. It may cost a little, but hey Ya get what you pay for.
Also I Silver Accounts on XboxLIVE are free so you can get DLC even if you can't play against other people.

I think I'll abstain, I have no real preference between consoles due to both having their own strengths and weaknesses, I own a PS3 and a PC and I honestly prefer gaming on the PC because I'm an RTS buff and RTSes tend to (in my experience) fall short on consoles.
I maintain that the real winner of the console wars is the n64, since there has never been and will never be a shooter that can top perfect dark or golden eye.
